Women of Worth

One Flaw In Women

This painting is called After Dinner by Pino
& is one of my all time favorites.

"Women have strengths that amaze men.
They bear hardships and they carry burdens,
but they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy
and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up to injustice.
They don't take 'no' for an answer
when they believe there is a better solution.
They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel
and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about
a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member,
yet they are strong when they
think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss
can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you
to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what
makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love.
They have compassion and ideas.
They give moral support to their
family and friends.
Women have vital things to say
and everything to give.

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW
In WOMEN,
IT IS THAT THEY FORGET
THEIR Own WORTH."

To all my great daughters, sisters and friends
~you are loved ~ just the way you are!
Why mess with total perfection?

Thank you SOOOO much for your suggestions for "the wires". I also loved hearing about the dark factor---that you discussed. I would have never thought to hide the wires in that way!!! So, thanks, it will make a big difference for me!!!

hello, i did your suggestions and love it, but i have one question, do i put the crib out diagonal into the room or sideways ( ilike the sideways better, but the netting is going to have to be moved, and that's okay but when she's in a toddler bed it's going to have to go back to where it was, which is okay too, but i wanted to get your opinion!) by the way have a fabulous time in italy! i am soooooo jelous it's not even funny! can't wait to see the pics and the wonderful finds you get there!

Vanessa, can you send me a picture, I am not sure what you mean about the bed. Thanks. You can just send it to my e-mail if it is easier.

We are excited to go to Italy but just feel badly to be leaving Jen and Lowell as Lowell's parents are unable to come if needed also right now as his dad just had hip surgery. As we know there has to opposition in everything and this is it for us. We pray Hazel will be home and all better this week. I am so thankful they have such wonderful friends, it will make it easier to leave and just knowing Chris and Missy are right there too.

I love this mom and it is oh so true! Last week we had out Visiting Teaching Conference at church and it was all about the power of righteous women when they remember who they really are. Your last few posts have reminded me of what we prepared for the Confernce. I will have to post some of the quotes we used. Anyway, thanks for sharing!
