The cartoon is very appropriate. I love Memorial Day and really any patriotic day. It always make me very emotional when we sing the songs in church or recite the National Anthem - to the point that most of the time I can't sing/speak, I just have to listen and go through the words in my mind & heart, and then get embarrassed that I am weeping.

On a lighter note - we too are having funky weather. Saturday it was so cold we had the heat turned up to 74 and it was rainy. Today Kent and I took a Sunday afternoon walk and I wore short sleeves and capri's. By the end of the week it is supposed to be up into the high 80's and I'm complaining that spring was too cold and now summer is going to be too hot and I didn't get to enjoy a cool/warm spring, it was just freezing. I love that Jim set out a lovely lunch for you. It looked yummy and the goblet was a nice touch. I miss TJ's here in Utah, I miss a lot of things here in Utah, but there is much to love too. Happy Memorial Day to you both.
